The Warehouse421 Docents Program is targeted for alumnae/alumni students. Warehouse421 Docents are the trained volunteers who will be providing educational services for Warehouse421 visitors. The program will provide training sessions for participants to ensure volunteers are equipped and able to use their communication skills to engage with visitors. As our mandate highlights inclusivity of space, the training will also include specialists in the field to learn how to deal with People of Determination, Audience Relations Training, and Exhibition Related Training. Participants will be asked to commit to a certain number of hours per month to deliver tours for various types of audiences.
Program Outcome
Experience working in Warehouse421, and be involved with its community.
The program gives valuable knowledge and appreciation of dealing with the audience, how to be mindful and inclusive of POD, strengthen communication skills and gain a deeper knowledge on regional creative scene.
Being a docent also provides a good basis on establishing new contacts or meeting people sharing the same interests and profession.
Compensation: This is a paid opportunity
Docent's Commitment
- Attend all the training sessions offered by specialist at Warehouse421 a minimum of 20 hours of training
- Available to offer tours at least two full days per month at Warehouse421

Eligibility
- Applicants must be over 21 years of age
- Priority is for Abu Dhabi based applicants
- Applicants should be recent graduates or art professionals with equivalent work experience.
- Present strong communication skills either in Arabic or English
- Has the ability to speak clearly, and listen closely
- Enthusiastic and energetic
- Represents leadership characteristics
