Event Held To Recognise Families Who Generously Lent Personal And Individual Memorabilia

Exhibition Ongoing Until 18 June, 2016

Following the successful launch of Warehouse421 in Abu Dhabi’s Mina Zayed, the newest arts space introduced a diverse programme of art, culture, music, performance and design, will continue to showcase four curated exhibitions throughout 2016, as well as monthly programme starting in January.

One of the exhibitions Lest We Forget: Emirati Family Photographs 1950-1999, showcases a series of photographs spanning over 49 years, and presents the ideals of memory and creative expression documented by Emirati families.

An event hosted by the Salama bint Hamdan Al Nahyan Foundation and the Creative Director of Lest We Forget Dr. Michele Bambling on Tuesday 15 December, specifically thanked and acknowledged the nearly 100 families who generously contributed personal family photographs and objects for the book and exhibition which is ongoing until 18 June, 2016.
