The exhibition features over forty artists and discusses the structure of publishing and their impact
Abu Dhabi, UAE: 11 December 2019: Warehouse421, Abu Dhabi’s homegrown arts and design center, has opened its latest exhibition, How to Maneuver: Shape-shifting texts and other publishing tactics. Featuring over 40 works developed by artists, writers and publishers, the exhibition seeks to explore the act of publishing, or of making work public, and the impact that act has on our art, our society, and ourselves.
Curated by the publishing initiative, Kayfa ta, and designed by Lebanese architecture and design studio, Ghaith & Jad, the exhibition features a range of pieces, with some featuring for the first time in the UAE, including Hussein Nassereddine’s The Complete Uncredited Works: The Palm Tree Forest; Print Labor by Ahmad Makia, and Borrowed Faces: The Research Space, by Fehras Publishing Practices.
